damage to lower frame

I just bought a new 2009 Coyote and have just 755 miles on it and just noticed deep nicks just below the seat. It looks like the seat is coming down and hitting the frame and putting a deep nick in the lower frame, has anyone else experienced this and why would this happen when I only weigh 190 ?

My wife has about the same miles on her 09 Coyote; difference being she weighs 107lbs.

Maybe your just a fat a55...:D, umm sorry; how's that - gravitationally challenged....

No, really no idea man; where's the pics of this damage?

Could the edge of the seat pan cut thru the end side of the seat and is hitting the frame or is it where the front of the seat hooks under the metal tab right below the gas tank?

Looks like the strut is hitting it not the seat. Grab the back of the rear fender and try to move it up and down. There should be no play in the strut where it mounts.

Do you see the nick just below the seat ? there is another one on the other side but more on the inside of the frame. Some how the rocker is hitting the main frame and like I said i weigh just 190 so I hope this isn't the root cause.

I grabbed the rear fender and there is no play. I just had it in the shop to get the 500 mi maint and to get a set of Vance and Hines big radius pipes put on and maybe the mechanic was clumsey with his tools? he said he had to tighting the belt so maybe...

I think you are talking about the lower control arm. This happened on my Mastiff when I didn't have the shocks adjusted right, and the control arm bottomed out.

Ah Swing Arm nick?...Nope, don't think your seat did that.
Check shocks as mentioned earlier, but I wouldn't think bump stop would allow that to hit strut there? Nick'd my pwdr coat with a ratchet like that before though.
