Dakota speedo

Just received the Dakota Speedo, thanks to Don:2thumbs:. Gonna mounted it on today. Also gonna built the K-9 today to dutch (european) standard for the approval testing. Need to change exhaust (must not be over 83 dB), carburator, airfilter, headlights, breakinglight, jiffystand etc.:bang: After approval building it back to normal.....Will add some pics later.

Hi Milco,

there is only one CE legal exhaust for our bikes, made by Penzl.

It has 2 internal valves that you can open/close by a cable, just like the Jekyll&Hide exhausts from your country.

With open valves they are very loud - you can see the exhaust valve through 'em :lol:.

They put on a x-pipe that creates great torque!!

Hi Jochen,

I will put the V&H radials back after the approvement, I will use some old approved exhausts for the approvement. I will also use the original turn/brakelights after approvement, for approvement I will use a brase with an EU approved back/brake light and turnlights. Thank you for the info and maybe we will see each other at the superrally.
