Hi all,
I am looking at a 2007 K-9 that is in perfect shape apart from having the speedometer lense cracked around where the button is located. (See pic attached.) The speedo and all of the lights still work fine, so it is just a cosmetic issue.
I started looking into how much this would cost to fix, and I stumbled upon the Dakota Digital direct-fit speedo. I actually like the look of it much better than the stock analog unit. My question is this:
Does anyone know if the Dakota Digital unit comes with a new lense attached, or are you expected to use your existing lense? Basically, I am trying to assess if buying the Dakota Digital unit alone would be enough to correct the speedo issue on this bike.
Thanks,
Paul
