I put a new battery in my 2006 pitbull checked stater seams to be fine if I ride a full days ride by the end of the day battery is to weak to crank bike say a good 6 hr ride with 4 starts threw out the day or so is there a higher Amp stater I can upgrade to this has been a problem since I've had the bike only 7,000 miles on the bike

Check your charging system. Voltmeter on the battery when it is not running should be around 12.8 volts. With it running, around 14.2. The battery may also have a cell starting to short out. The only battery recommended is the Deka 310cca, ETX20L. You can get one on Amazon

The electronics of the BigDog do not favor the lithium battery. I would personally advise against the use of ANY lithium battery. You should have around 14 volts or a bit over coming to the battery from the VR. On a side note, I bought a new battery and it showed good voltage but with a load test it showed weak. Had a bad cell. I recommend Cycle Electric for your charging system upgrade. Good luck! Keep us posted!IMG_7732.png

Yes that's why I got a new one I've had this problem for a few years now take it to a mechanic I get there's nothing wrong with the battery seams to be charging fine but yet I take it off the 2.5 Amp charger after charging over the nite shows full go ride for the day by time I'm heading home from a good days ride stop to refuel I have to get my little jump box out. my 2002 pitbull same thing but it's problem is no compression relief it has to have a 360 CCA and still if it hasn't hit by the 3rd turn of the key or so it's dead but it takes a lot of juice to turn it over the 2006 it turns right over think I will update the charging system and go from there I was hoping I was just blind to something simple I wasn't seeing ĥhhgʻ thanks for you input much appreciated

That’s just replacing what he has. He was looking for an upgrade

13.8v says a few burnt stator winding cores. Easy to tell are a few turn black, the rest copper colored. Stick with Mr. Wright with the battery. He's been around the block. Fuck changing the VR if it can read 13.8v.
