Cycle Electric...Great customer service!

Chopper Dave

SIICK!!!
I haven't been on here in a while...been busy with work and shit:D so
I thought I would share my experience that I had with Cycle Electric.
About a week ago, I went for a little ride on Sunday afternoon...at the end of the ride I pulled in the gas station to top the bike off. When I started it up, I noticed it dragged a little...when my bike was running, my speedo wasn't working...so I couldn't reset my trip...so I rode back home(which is only about a mile from the gas station) and when I got home, turned key off and then on...my speedo was working again...reset my trip...then tried to start the bike and it turned over a couple times then click click...battery was drained!
glad I found this out in the driveway
Then I jumped on here and looked in this thread ...http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/help-wanted/14631-negative-volts-voltage-regulator.html
and I did my charging system tests...Thanks to Alhall and Gas Man
I replaced my voltage regulator a few years ago when my BDM one took a shit...I went with Cycle Electric. When I did all my test...my stator was good...but my battery was not charging...stayed at 13 volts at idle and cracking the throttle...tested my wire going to my VR and had power going to it...but my battery was not charging...I was like damn...just replaced this a couple years ago:bang: I also had my battery load tested and it was good...I already ordered a new TR Battery 465 cca...same one that Five Five on here is running...my Braille is still good...but its 2 and 1/2 years old, so I decided to change it out anyways just to be safe...
I called Cycle Electric in Brookville,OH. and the guy told me to send it back to him and they would look at it. I sent it back to them on Monday of this week...then I got a brand new one today:whoop: free of charge:2thumbs:
On my invoice it said that they tested it and found a AC short due to diode failure...so they replaced it with a new one! I was surprised how quick this was...4 days after I sent my old one out, already had the new one at my door:whoop: I bought my Cycle Electric VR from Beezer and he told me they stand behind their products...they do! a big thanks to them!
today was a shitty day weather wise....44 degrees..rainy and windy...so I put on my new VR...installed new battery and fired my bike up..back at 14.2 - 14.5 volts at fast idle:whoop: now I can enjoy some fall riding here before winter kicks in...have only about another month and a half to ride...depending on the weather:(
Just wanted to share this with everyone and let people know how cool Cycle Electric was with me :2thumbs:
hope everyone has a great weekend  suppose to rain the next few days here with colder weather...then suppose to get back in the 70's in the middle of next week...Later

:2thumbs:Nice pipes, nice juice, nice craftsman lift, and the voltage regulator matches the paint. I would need billet or chrome! Excellent work.:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

How do you like your pegs? I am thinking of going with ones without the rubber since I keep wearing them out!

What might that new shit from Beezer be called CD?

The cool air of fall riding makes the bike scream.....or maybe it's my imagination..
