Customer Controls

Energy One
Finally got my ride back with mods.
Custom Controls with a custom made hydraulic clutch cover. Made by fusing a BD cover and a Baker cover.

Look ma 'No Cables', well for the most part. I still have the brake cable. BUt I bet I could get rid of that with a springer front end.......hhhmmmm

Thanks Gas Man, took me awhile to find the right pieces to match up. In the end the BDM cover and the center hydraulic section of the Baker worked perfect. Of course it wasn't cheap either. .I didn't want my Dog down the whole time so I bought another stock cover, $175,the Baker cover, about $400, then the machining, about $375. Not acheap proposition but if you want hidden controls what choice do you have.

Curtis, did they just cut the two covers down the middle and weld them back or did they have to but the bolts boss' off and weld them back on?

Nice setup and a first I believe that we've seen here.

:cheers::cheers:

I love this place, I knew if it was good enough for Ray I might be good enough to fit in

Love all you guys
Well it just shows that with any matter of effort you can make anything happen. Especially with this metal stuff. Anything can happen with some time and welding.

Sorry for the delay Ray.
They actually milled the center out of each unit and the fashioned the Baker piece so that it was bolted in place on the BD cover. There was no welding involved. I should have taken a pic of it buttt......
