I am seriously considering loosing the stock turns and taillights for something more custom.

This will involve making a filler out of aluminum for the gap it leaves in the struts and chroming them.

I think I've seen them all, from strip lights engbeded in the fender, run along the lower edge, patterns like Sargent stripes etc.

Nothing is off limits. All ideas welcomed and appreciated.

Pics will be great.

Here is mine and my girlfriends.

Her's is an LED strip molded into the fender. It is split in two sections left and right.

I just replaced four of the existing red LED's with bright blue LED's for the old school blue dot look. I'll post some pics when I get off work tonite.

Down here the cops thinks they have monopoly on blue lights and will ticket you instantly with blue lights on your bike.

If you're into skulls, Ive had a couple customers use these as their brake and turn signal lights. They come in White or Red eyes. Sorry for the huge pics. I don't know how to make them smaller

Split.... That is badass... Never even thought of that. I am wanting to just find an LED for each side that would also fcn as turn signal as well.

I've got the stock lights with the add on eyebrow trim. I didn't like the look at all on the rear so I rotated the brows 90 degrees. both are now inboard at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions respectively. Looks much better, gives motorists much better illumination perspective but coolest part is the slot for removal is outside. Check it out! Those slots act as side markers.. huge visable at nite. If someone is in your blind spot those slots can be seen flashing when the turn signal is flashing. I like some of the previous posted customs.
I am toying with an idea that is a type of billet wicker bill that will incorporate the sissy bar mount.
I also called s&s and asked if they had thought about a left side dual runner assembly to match the right side. I told the tech Guy I spoke with to incorporate it into the coil cover but its true function would be a ram air system for the V between the cylinders. It would assist in cooling that shrouded area and also give the bike a little more symmetry from the riders perspective. He said he would bring it up at the next meeting. I doubt any thing will come of it but sure would look cool! Two black trumpets to match the air filters on the right. Hell, you could even taper the throats and drill small venturi to additionally cool the charge. Sorry,....... got a little carried away! Ron
