has anyone tried to customize their struts for a sissy bar instead of paying the 800 bucks for new struts

full throttle in lansing mi.

i got alittle discount from them, but from BDM i think they were only like $170 a piece. i converted my 06 to the 07 struts with the built in mounts.

Try Nelson with WB Cycles on this board. He can hook you up with BDM stuff with a discount.

will the stuts off of a k9 fit a ridgeback, how easy was it to convert, thats a great idea, and are the new ones chrome,,,thanks everbody for your input,

k-9 struts wont fit on a ridged but the same option might be avalible for the rigids. they are avalible in chrome or polished.

Ridgeback struts will only fit the Ridgeback/Pitbull, and K-9 struts only fit the K-9.

I'll have to call BDM tomorrow to see what the deal is with getting the chrome versions Titus .... right now I'm only seeing polished available for your bike.

18" Sissy Bar system is $525.00 (bar is chrome but struts are polished)
