Custom Sissy Bar

Energy One
Great bar GM and it fits your bike perfectly, he does awesome work and that design with those sweeping curves couldn't have been easy to do and have it come out like he did and he doesn't rape you with his pricing either and since they're steel there should be no chrome bubbling issues. Things happens for a reason, can't wait to see the pipes.

I could send him my bar for the 300mm people. As much as I'm gone for work, I wouldn't need the thing for a month or so.

I may have to come up with my own idea while I'm at it. :D

That would probably work Tim. Then all he needs is a measurement on the bar, by just masking it off with tape, to how high your rear fender is. Like put a lever on the fender with the sissy bar installed... mask off that line on the sissy bar... cause he runs that bar right over the top fo the fender for support and to aid the designs.

Then you'd be good to go. Once he gets one made, he can bang them out for everybody.

Thanks Gas - Your flame design would be perfect for me. Unless Tim comes up with something off the hook. Can't go wrong with flames.....

I've been thinking about it...

Billy Lane did a sissy bar that looked like a crown and I really liked it but I need something more original. Maybe I can tweak his design enough to make it my own.

Tim, or tweak out one of those flame sketches I had to make a crown. Some of them look kinda like crowns.

I'm with Al, hell, could be free winter storage. :2thumbs: But I would like something unique since Gas and I'll be riding together, although I'll be riding way behind him far away from danger. :job: I can still stay overnight on 12/1 right?:) What time will your wife have breakfast ready, ah oh ,here she comes:eek:

I understand Seat... same reason why I didn't go with Al's sick ass bones. Don't want to take away from his glory sense we ride together. I appreciate that.

You can stay over after the party... I got plenty of floor space and a couple spare futons. Just no puking... the wife is a symptomthetic puker.

Hey Chris,

I finally started an account on here! Thanks for the tread, I really appreciate the exposure. I also wanted to say that I really appreciate all the feedback on the sissy bars. I stay pretty busy so I can only do limited quanities but things might be slowing down in January, who knows maybe they will become my full time gig!

You sound like me, got a gig you would like to do full time but stuck with something that sucks because it pays good. Hopefully your day job doesn't suck.. Welcome, I'm just about an hour south from you.

I've got a 300mm pitbull that needs one too, if/when you do get around to a 300mm design. :)

jwolf... if you have a current BDM sissy bar.. all he needs is that plus a measurement on the rear fender height to the sissy bar.. ship it to him and he'll do it. That is what Alhall did.

You can get the level on the current sissy bar by placing a level on the fender at its highest point and marking the BDM bar with tape. That way he can run the bottom bar nice and tight to the fender.
