It sounds like BDM is packaging the OLD Dealer instructions with the new jig. We have modified and simplified the jig for easier installation (only need one bolt vs. two). Revised instructions show the jig with single bolt.

The old jig used two holes for alignment and a bar inside the housing to secure the jig to the housing. Problem was, the tie bar inside the housing was in the way of the drill and tap making it difficult to properly modify the housing.

Also, the reusable Dealer jig is made of either steel of aluminum and does use two steel bushings vs. the one aluminum bushing used in the end user jig. I will contact BDM to let them know about using the wrong instructions in the package.

On a side note, until the economy recovers and BDM is back to full operation Cruise-Mate is once again available from my website and if there is enough interest I will consider offering a forum discount as in the past:up:.
