Cruse Mate

My son got me a Cruse Mate for my birthday, and it came in today. I took it out of the package and it is packaged by Big Dog now. After taking it out I found it had only one hole in the Drill jig instructions showed two, it had only one bushing instructions showed two, it had no clamp bar instructions showed one. The instructions show how to do this with all the parts, and the how- to on hear do also. I guess it is Big Dog cheaping out on parts again. I hope it will work with one bolt down hole on jig and one bushing to do it. If anyone has run into this same deal let me know what you did. Thanks,

I just bought one. The it came with the BMD installation instructions, different than the cruise-mate instructions. Jigg looks cheaper, haven't installed it yet. Might be newer and improved. I will install this weekend and see.

Hey T-Bird and Bigmex, I still have the original Instructions and Jig and tap and drill bit that came with it. If you want T-Bird I can send it to ya and then you can pass it on to Bigmex or vise versa and on down to who ever need one. :2thumbs:

I installed my cruse-mate today. The jig worked fine. I had to file on the jig bolt locking pin, to get it in the housing. The kit only came with one bushing, the drill guide bushing. After your done drilling, remove the bushing and tap the hole. The hole with bushing removed is the same size as the Tap. It takes about 1.5 hours to install by yourself. Two rides to set the lock. Works great. Thanks for the offer guys, done deal. Its nice to have people that are willing to help out!!!!!!!
