Cruise-Mate Question

I have my Cruise Mate at home and have not installed it yet. Hopefully I will find time this weekend to get the thing on and give it a test ride.
My question here is what is the difference between a Cruise Mate and a Cruise Mate II?

The difference is the cheaper cruise mate is not a stainless handle, it is a black powder coated cast handle. Same perfect quality, same cartridge made out of stainless. Got one of each on my bikes and this guy should get the next nobel prize. It is an awesome piece and works perfectly!! Either or depending what you like for an appearance!
