Cruise Control & funky Gas Cap

While surfing for gas caps, I came across this site that has a cruise control set-up for the newer Dogs.
It's worth a look - maybe you all have not found this site yet (?).

It's been around awhile - mentioned by someone on the "other site." Don't know if anyone has installed it.

Yeah I have seen that... but um... I'll wait for somebody else to try it.. then probably still say no.

I would not even attempt to put cruise control on these dogs with the type of roads that we have. It's hard enough to try to avoid all the potholes and shit. Imagine your on cruise control and come up on shit like that. You'll be screwed.

The only place I could imagine using such a thing would be on a looooong flat boring staightaway, and even then just for a little temporary relief.

I'm not sure about this one...

But most of them you can force spin it back to idle... without "unlocking" the cruise.

If your hands bother you.. I suggest a throttle rocker over a cruise... kury makes some grips with the flat edge on them to do the same thing as the throttle rocker.

Arlrn Ness make a nice throttle rocker also, but the Kury one is the way to go.
Don't go with those cheapies because they don't work. They slip and you'll be fustrated.

I like mine...

Lost my first one 600 miles from home...

Glad to have another... :)
I used it anytime I was traveling more than 1 hour, but have left it on all the time lately.

I want to get the 50Boys but it's just to expensive. They just started making them to fit our grips. You have to send them your grip unless you get one of there models (more money).

Out here on the open roads it's great to have a devise to take the pressure off your palm. I have tried the "Throttle Rocker" and the other one out there and they work well but are not adjustable.
The Crampbuster is and I've used it for about three years now. They are guaranteed so if it ever breaks they will send you another. They first started with one and now are up to 4 different designs. They now have a wide one for our large grips. All just $11. Mine is always on my grip.
Best thing about this one is you can reset it with the flick of your hand so it will always be right where you want it. :D
