Cross reference for exhaust for 2002 mastiff

Does anyone know if there is a close match, I was told that a 2006 night train will work? Is this good information? I really like a set of Samson's for the softail night train but I want to know if they are close enough to fabricate a new back bracket and make them work. Any information would be greatly appreciated

It is more than just a new bracket. Almost any exhaust will bolt up to the heads, the problem is getting it to clear the swingarm on wider tire bikes. Most harley exhausts will not come out enought to clear the swingarm on any bike with a wider tire. You need an exhaust that is made for a LSD 240 or 250 tire for it to fit, RSD would clear, but sticks
out too much.

I have pritty nice exhaust on my bike just a suggestion and no problems clearing swing are no problems with anything rubbing or getting in way at all. Called FEDUSTA exhaust. If your serious about wanting it look at my bike in my garage comes with heat shields and it was $900.00 let me know and I'll dig out the receipt for you and give you the information of where I got it from. I got it from the guy that makes the exhaust himself direct.

Thanks Mike. My mastiff has a 230 rt. I'm looking for a long exhaust. Was looking at straight shots or Samson's 2 into 1. Thanks for the information! Riding Jersey also the south end. I'll keep poking around until I get something going
