Crooked Tank Questions

So I posted a question about some BDM's I'm looking at and one particular seems as if something's not straight. I havent rode it yet so cant say for sure...take a look at the picture they took from the back of the bike. The tank doesnt look like its sitting straight/in-line with the frame.

Is this common with the 02 pitbulls? I saw there was a recall pertaining to the tank mounts but I'm not sure if this particular issue is related. I do know that the mount bolt visable through the but end of the tank and plastic piece is partially pulled through like someone over torqued it???? Any ideas.

kinda hard to say for sure,,, but maybe just back mount for center "dash " is crooked. mine is adjustable

The mount under the center console isn't centered. Easy fix but if it's been like that for a while it may have rubbed impression into the tank. Something to look at and easy to fix.

Thats great to know, Ive got some more crawling around to do on this bike before I check out the Mutt I'm looking at. Thanks all who chimed in!

Hmmmmm. Looks like just the center cover is off to one side
