I agree with everyone else, " Glad that you alive and breathing". The pain sucks I know from experience. The bike really looks like it held up well. It can be fixed. I know two people, friends of mine that thing happened to that were riding HD's. One guy was bed ridden for about 6 months, lots of broken bones, screws, plates, Etc. The other one died at the crash as my son in law held him. He died on impact, really, really messed up. Thank God you were on a Dog with a long front end.

Sharp bike, glad you are doing OK after a foot injury like that. I have a friend that lost most of his foot in a simular accident due to infection setting up in the bone at the break. Ride safe!

Damn, that sucks, glade to see your ok. Stopped for a beer after work yesterday and got to talking with a guy and his wife. He said the got run over last July while on the side of the road in a city in the middle of the afternoon in front of a shit load of people. Both were in ICU for a while. The asshole didn't even stop. It was a dark side of town and nobody saw a thing. This a situation if it were me, pull out the old 45 and unload in the back of the guys car (if possable). The guy that got hit agreeed, and said that this was one of the few times that he was not carring. I never want to use deady force, but when some piece of shit does something like this, they don't deserve to be in my world. By the way, one year later, never caught the person.

there's a man on ebay that sells alot of Big Dog stuff
he always has good deals on wheels and front ends.
Says he is not afilliated with big dog but I'm not so
sure he is not a liquidator. First get the insurance check
for Dealer cost you know the game. Get well soon so you can ride!!

I let the insurance company take the Ridgeback, they wanted 10k for it back in November. Bike needed too much and they were giving it a salvage title. I actually put the motor in my new chopper while i still had a cast on my foot lol. Limped around my buddys shop and he helped me out. Ill post pics of my foot in a min. At its worst back in November and as it is today.

Every bikers worst nightmare, the idiot turning left....

Is there any aftermarket type of device that will automatically alternate your high low beams every 2 or 3 seconds? If one exists I'll invest in it. Anything to get the attention of the other driver.

This is one reason why in urban areas I ride like a granny. 2 years ago some idiot teenager turned left in front of me, I t-boned his dad's Ford Expedition with my Eclipse. My car was totalled. I don't want to think about what would have happened to me if I had been on my k9.

I'm glad your healed up and your bike looks excellent! It's really nice.

Me and the old lady got pulled in front of two weeks ago while we were in a curve. The other guy turning left again but I pulled back on it and got her shut down.

Glad your back on your scoot!
