Crashed my 09 Ridgeback

Well i got cut off on Monday night by some moron who turned left in front of me and i basically hit him head on. Here is the result.

08 Chopper ruined, my foot is broken in 4 spots and have 3 torn ligaments. Had operation tuesday morning and ended up with 3 screws and one pin that is supposed to come out in 2 weeks.

Last night i could move my ankle and whiggle my toes which i think is a great improvement.

Ill be looking for some parts. I ned a 08-09 Ridgeback front wheel, 12 over inverted front end, possibly foot controls and front fender. Bike will have to be repainted, also it will need a headlight. If any of you guys have these parts or know where i can get them plz let me know.

Brother forget the bike right now. I know it's your baby, but be more focused with getting yourself healed up and well again! Then worry about the bike! I'm just damn glad you're alright (alive!). :2thumbs:

roman you do have the right spirit---don't let this get you down. get well soon. the dog can be fixed or replaced.

you might want to gather up the names of witnesses, first responders, and anybody else who might have some information about the accident and the other driver, all of which could be handy in the future.

Holy shit....just looking at the pictures.......I'm speachless.
Take care of yourself first, then go after this guy with a civil suit that will pay for all bike, body, and time away from work expenses and then some, that is unless his insurance co. is already going to cover everything.

Ultima has a chrome 58mm inverted front end for under 500.

looks much better with the thicker tubes IMO

i put 5 degree and 12 over on my chopper.

you probably need 3 degree and 12

Staying on top of whats going on helps me heal, i know the chopper will get fixed but it keeps me focused, im the Mind over matter kinda guy which speeds up healing.

It was def the other guys fault and is stated so in the police report, plus i have a witness that gave a statement to the police. Guy claimed he never saw me, hmm a long chopper with no baffle in the exhaust?????????? I doubt it.

All the guy got was a ticket, amazing right. His ins company is being extremely difficult so i have to hire a lawyer to get this all straightened out.

damm... man that same old thing I didnt see you....if the laywer dosent work out dont invest anymore $ use a bullet.. I've had some close calls but never nuttin like that, I've been lucky to avoid them I guess..

You might want to check the head on your frame! Buy the looks of the pictures of it that you've now posted. I can see now that the bike took one hell of a lick to the front end!
Would be a bitch to start buying parts to only find out the frames no good now and needs significant repairs!

Yeah bike did considerably well lol, i own Wreckedbikes.net so im not a stranger to bike wrecks, just never planned on fixing my own. I have a 08 Cenzi Roller with 18 over front end that i was planning on working on during the winter, i guess ill have to work on both of them lol

Oddly enough both the Ridgeback and CEnzi bikes have a very similar paint jobs, it would be a good time to repaint the Ridgeback since the front fender is toast and tank is dented.

Friend of mine who has a chopper shop went and picked it up, said its possible that the steering stop got knocked off which possibly did some damage to the frame, once im moving around ill go over there and have him pull the front end out to see what we got. I still have to have the appraisal done on it which i guess will deteremine which direction ill go with the bike.
