I just went out and removed the oil to add the Lucas Oil additive and all that went easy enough,, a new 60 ccc/ 2 ounces syringe with a Krystal cup straw on it will suck the oil out perfectly without making a mess. I put to the exact "molecule" back in it, stood it up checked the oil level,,, exactly to the thread !!!

Then it happened,, I went in the house to get the key to start her up. It started Boom, Boom, Boom rattling the garage window, just like always,, I reached up and changed the mileage on the trip meter to the actual mileage. My eyes grew large,, heart skipped a beat!!!! I have almost 6,800 miles on the scooter!!!!!!! I thought I was under 5,000 miles still!! If someone had written a cuss word on a piece of paper I would have signed it !!! I knew I had been riding a lot more since the wire plus and getting the scooter really shiney but I didn't realize I had ridden that many miles out in the country!!

:D:D

Thank you to everyone on this forum for your help and advice with this scooter in getting it where I feel good about leaving and not returning on a trailer.

God Bless you all,
Ray

I agree Tim, after the ECH died on me running around 75-80 that day, trailered home and all that, it took a little while after I installed the wire plus and taking it out through the country around here,,100 mile round trips to get that trust in the scooter again.

Hopefully I will be replacing the rear tire tommorrow getting ready to do the Dragon next Saturday weather permitting :D. There are about 6 of us going up there for an all day ride and I am taking the Go Pro to video the ride.

I was going to do it by myself but my wife and mostly my daughter don't want me doing it alone so they are going too. I used to ride a Suzuki before the ridgeback and eat the curves up. I have found as we all know that ride em the ridgeback is different in the curves from a regular motorcycle. Ah , but I have been practicing on Highway 96, the closest thing to the dragon around here. Here is a shot I freeze framed on 96. The grass growing up along the side of the road about waist high kind of hanging into the road. Notice the right mirror in the picture. Having new tires makes me feel better about taking longer rides too.

The weekend is upon folks,,, everyone ride safe and enjoy,,
