Crankcase or cyclinder head breathing on the 117

I had noticed on many Big Dog applications, that they incorporate a "one way valve" so the engine can vent it's pressures out but not allow any air in from the atmosphere. I stumbled on this here below:

"If installing a hose in the lower case breather location,
DO NOT use a hose by itself. Lower engine
case breather hose must be fitted with S&S #50-
8122 one-way valve. If the upper rear head
breather location is also used, it also must have a
one way valve installed. In either location, white
end of valve faces engine.
SSW+ engines breathe differently than Evolution
style engines. Not installing the one-way valve
will result in a direct engine vacuum leak, affecting
performance."
P.S. I guess you can edit the body of the post but not the title? Trying to correct the title spelling..wtf...lol

What's wrong? All right. One-way valve.

My engine doesn't have one. I bought the bike 2nd hand. It might have had one at one time and it might have been discarded. Every now and then it spits oil out of the 3/8th line connected to the rear head.

Stock the 117" from big dog has the plug on the crank case.

Front head sucks rear blows.

I'm not sure opening up the crank case is gonna prevent oil from dribling out might just push it out the bottom instead of the top. Both are going to blow with the one way valves
