Needing to put a 'puke can' on my custom. Oil dripping out of breather on to. engine. There are a lot of options out there, can anyone post some pics of options and brands that work well. Was flipping through cycle catalog many to choose from don't want to waste money on crap that don't work well.

Hell, I Googled "puke can" and every other variation to death and only found one option, and I deleted the link because it was $125.00. I would think that if the hose size was compatible and it came with a drain you should be good to go....

Xrott, do a search on here and you'll find different ways of venting. I run the Wimmer puke can. Her eis a pic of my can under the passenger peg.

Xrott,
what size motor do you have?

reason I ask is because i've been dealing with the venting issues on my 03 Mastiff (S&S 107) for quite some time. I vent thru the heads with that chrome crossover tube as well as a lower port and I've never been really happy with the results. I don't like all the lines (even though they're braided:D ) running all around my motor.

Recently, I changed air cleaners to the Doherty Power Pacc and it came with the power vents.

Finally, I am happy with the venting of my motor both functionally and cosmetically. The power vents really clean up the looks of things behind the AC and i've only seen minimal dripping from the vents which I'm more than willing to clean up (trade off).

Additionally, my oil capacity is 3 qts. During my last oil change, I filled the tank with 3 qts then purged the old oil in the crankcase (which wasn't much) by starting the bike with no oil filter until what appears to be new oil comming out. Then I installed my filter and rechecked the oil level. The level wasn't that far from my original mark so I left it there and I believe this also helped in minimizing the 'pukeing' my bike was previously doing.

Even the lower vent line, which i left in place since it's pretty much running along the lower frame rail and is outta site, is clean and no oil spray under the bike!

Sorry for the long post but I thought the AC and oil change trick/info would help you out.

LDO sends....:2thumbs:

You guys need a S&S Reed Valve. It replaces your breather gear in the cam chest. All 06 and newer bikes are running them. It equals out the pressure in the crank case, so you get no carry over.

have a 96" s&s as you can see it's not BDM... but all the other forums suck so I use all the bikers knowledge on this site to help.
