Covering Your Ride

Cheap Fix! I use on old blanket (very soft) and a couple of micro-fiber blankets (4-5 bucks @ WalMart) wash them 3-4 times, makes them soft. Don't need a big buck cover, bike is (when not out riding) inside a garage. Why spend two hundred bucks?
Just some soft blankets...don't want the pooch to get cold ...after buying the Vette the dog had been displaced to back in the house , wish I had a bigger garage!! "converted screened in porch" sure adds some visual appeal to the room!!!!

I have a BDM cover as well, and it's ten times the quality of the cheap one I bought to put on my old rice burner. It's light weight and beathable. Nice, that's about all I can say. Wouldn't go any other way now.

That's very true Gas Man but a good light weight cover slides very easily and will not have a tendency to slowly wear the paint off if it drags a little when you put it on.

I wonder if we could get a group buy going here on the bike capsule. They look like they would really work good on keeping the contisation and everything off well.

I use the Big Dog cover on my K-9 cause it form fits over my 18" sissy bar. Good quality and I'm guessing the Big Dog logo adds a $100 to the price.
I'm the same, the BD cover is spendy but it's real good quality, softer than a babys ass on the bike side & works well with the 18 in sissy to me it was worth the $150(got a deal when i bought my bike)

I'm using a Cycle Pocket w/ desiccant bags. You drive onto the base, place blankets over the bike, throw desiccant bags down and zip it shut.....I'd take pictures but would have to make a path through 2 feet of snow to get to the shed...."I mean F...ing snow"
Picked it up at Rochester Thunder for $129.00 last Sept....

Would be nice to pick up at light weight cover for traveling. When I went to Sturgis a few years ago the dust and dirt at the camp grounds just covered the bike.....not to mention out of site out of mind....
