My baby brother was killed a couple of weeks ago and I got this one started. He was an awesome guitar player. Check him out on You Tube. Do a search for Predawn Hour, then check out the Roadhouse Blues video. He was only 27 yrs old. He leaves behind a wife and two kids. One is 5, the other is 2. I miss him a lot.

WOW show... that blows huge. Sorry for your loss man. Was he in the military as well? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help from Michigan.

No, he was not military. Just a young father/husband with a job. He lived in Il. He fell asleep at the wheel and rolled into the path of a train. He was killed instantly.

The tattoo has been very healing for me. I am 11 yrs older than he was. I still miss him a lot. He was a very caring, wonderful guy. He touched a lot of lives. There were over 800 people at his visitation. There is a fund set up for his kids education. (If anyone wanted to give)

Send whatever you can to the: Cory Wilkey Memorial Fund, North Adams Bank, Camp Point, Il 62320

If not, that is fine too. I thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to get this tat finished. It will look awesome once I have all the color in it.

You can also check them out on My Space. Look for Predawn Hour. Thanks guys.

You don't don't know how much I appreciate you spreading the word about the kids education fund. It is funny to hear all the people thank me when I come back from Iraq and now I get to say Thank You! I hope some of you checked out the videos or there My Space site. He was very talented and loved by everyone he touched.

I do not want to be a "downer" to this thread. I am just trying to celebrate his life. Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. (And contributions to those who choose to do so).

You guys are all new family to me (as I just left the VTX world to join the Big Dogs) and the reception has been overwhelming. Thank you all. It is my pleasure to know you and I hope to ride with you someday.

Wow Show, Sorry for your Loss man.

Rainman, Please post the info on the memorial Fund on The Jesters East Coast and World Wide sites if you can. (I have no access from work)
Hey LDO/RAY/BH.... can you split all the posts about his brother off this thread and onto its own self standing thread. That will clean up this and help him out more.

Show... writing out a check RIGHT NOW to send out to support the cause. That is really sad and good people will always step up to such things. Welcome to our Big Dog world!

Yes, that is the right bank. The one in Camp Point is where you send it. As long as it says "Cory Wilkey Memorial Fund" on it, it will definately go to the right place.

Yes, That is the band. Cory is the lead guitar player. He does all the solos. He has the dark hair. Plays a Fender Strat. He was very very talented. If you go to their My Space page you can buy music right from their page. Just go to My Space and search for Predawn Hour. They are from Quincy, IL.

THANK YOU GAS!! THANK YOU ALL!!

Thank you Gas. That is very kind of you. Every little bit will help make sure his kids go to college and that was very important to him. Cory was a very loving devoted father/husband. Thank you again.

So you found the posts... I asked the mods to move these off the tat thread... Jake got caught in the cross fire and got moved over... his post is "truly" about tats.

Anyway, I'm sorry for your loss. The check is already in the mail. Not sure if you will see them at all but I put "from Gas Man" in the check memo.
