Could be that you are right at the Gulf of Mexico. A friend of mine in the Corpus Christi, Texas area has the same problem with most all his vehicles and appliances in the guarge (washer and Dryer). He had his Bike (Harley)Powder coated to see how that works.

I would start washing it with soap and water. I don't think you could keep the salt out of all the nooks and grannies by just wipping it clean.

Yea maybe I will start washing with water, I just allways thought that using soap and water all the time would make everyhting corode faster.

Motorcycle Bubble

I bought one of these chopper bubbles, its the best $300.00 you will ever spend. I got tired of polishing for hours and 2 days later dust everywhere!! I get right inside of the bubble when its blown up and polish it. Months later there is still no dust on it. It also keeps all the moisture out, at least when its stored it cant rust!!!

Mach 1,

Just a thought.....Is it the paint bubbling or the clearcoat?

Sometimes the clearcoat will bubble up if the paint gets dirty or is touched by oily hands before the clearcoat is applied. Still a bitch but the fix is easier.
