Cool pic of the Pit

I was on the way to a friend’s house the other evening around sunset and just happened to come across the most bad-ass looking dusk sky I’d ever seen. I pulled over in a rural area and positioned the Pit right under it. I snapped this pic with my BlackBerry (don’t laugh- it’s a company phone, not mine). I have no idea what causes the sky to the look this way but it was unreal to see in person. The pic is completely unedited.

I actually took several very good shots but then managed to drop my phone in my pool 4hrs later. I sent this to my girlfriend right after taking it which is the only reason I still have it. All of the other pics were stored on the phone- which is trashed now.
