control arms that reduce clocking

What does " Forward Control Arms that reduce clocking by 7 degrees" mean?

That would mean that your break or clutch pedal would be 7 degrees lower or taller.

So reduceing would mean that the arm is 7 degrees closer to your foot?

If you take your controls apart you will find that there is a pin in there along with two slots to set this in on the control side. Not hard to do and gives you a change to take them apart clean them and apply some grease to them.

Whats the reason or advantage for this?

Some people have big ass boots. It helps to fit it in and the other way would be for a slimmer shoe. Just an option for personal prefrance.

i need to change mine.....got 3" extensions and have to conciously think about it when shifting up to get these sleds of feet in there.
