Confused

I know there had been a few mods to my bike before I acquired it and I just starting to make sense of it all. I just have a few questions for you guys.
Did my bike(2005 mastiff 117) come with a voes switch? Because, while installing my wire plus kit it didn't mention one and there isn't one on the wiring diagram.
Also what belongs here? I'm just guessing but this is not oem for the year???

They also put a dual fire coil on it.

Some one did an ignition up-grade but left all the old parts, like the oem ignition module and crank sensor, and to some one new to this it was very confusing.:loony:

I'll fully admit when it comes bikes, I'm a babe in the woods. But I'm a fast learner!

There is not a VOES. And if you are replacing the ignition, I would go with a Daytona TwinTec, model 1005 Daytona Twin Tec LLC - Model 1005 Ignition for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles
That one'll fit my bike? It says thru 2003?
Would that be your recommendation as opposed to the factory system.

When I was a kid i had a SB350 with an HEI. It had headers, a mild cam and few other things. I thought to myself I need to replace this factory POS ignition and get a real ignition. Well I went out and spent a wad of cash on a Mallory system with all the bells and whistles. I couldn't really tell the difference. The HEI with a hi-output coil is all you really needed for a street rig. I don't wanna make that mistake again.
But if you say it's worth it, I'm all over it.

Yes, if you have an internal ignition already, this is the one to get. I would recommend getting the entire single fire kit with the internal ignition, coil and wires. Retails for around $400
