Cone Shape Air Intake.Questions

Hey all I was looking to switch my stock air intake for a cone intake. My first question is does any of our vendors on here sell them. And second is what opinions does everyone have on them. If they dont like them which one should I look for. And finally are these bolt on and go? Thanks for all the help

If you do a search you will find that some have problems with the spike while others have not, most likely you may have to change the jets in your carb to get the best performance

I've got a D&M spiral spike. No problems. Make sure u get a rain sock if u get one.
Good idea to carry with u when your making long runs....D&M has a nice product.

I have a Dm spike on my ridgeback. The only issue is a flat spot at 60mph unless I run it in the up position then no issues.

Sorry the picture is so small, it came from my cell phone. I love the D&M, it gives a totally different sound. I have never heard of a rain sock though, I don't ride in the rain normally but I have been caught in it so I better look into it. Thanks Ringo

Here is a picture of mine. If you want a black one let me know as this one does not match the rest of the bike but came with it. I am changing to a polished/chromed one as soon as I get the right deal....

I do not have a spike intake but seems to me there were a few threads on here about them. Many could not get the carb tuned properly and others had issues with air flow. My recollection anyway...

I did one and it's the best decision I ever made...... Got it from D&m....... My only question is what do you do with the little rubber hose that's in the rear Jug
