Compression relief

Energy One
I have been experiencing starting issues and found if I hold one or both of the compression relief valves open problem solved. Is it a bad valve(s) or an electrical issue. BTW, when I hit the starter they do open or function just do not stay open or open far enough. Thoughts?

When you hit the start button they only activate for a second or 2. Pull the green wire off the starter so it wont start and push the start button and you will hear them click. If you put your finger on them you should feel them activate

You may want to remove the gas tank and check for wire's rubbing on the tank. Also check you rear tank mount to see if it's worn allowing the tank to ride lower and rub the harness. I have the same bike as you and my wire's were damaged. I repaired the wire's and all was good.
