Hey guys. I appreciate all the input, but it's too late now. But, in the future Ill stop and check here before I panic and immediately want to fix or replace something. Thanks again.

The manual ones are no better (worse if you ask me) than the electric ones. Same your money and just push the ones you have in before you start up. They work manually or electrically!

Mine spring back when i push them in?

When starting cold,, just push them both down first,
then hit the starter...
You talking about pushing them down on top of the head? The white rubber lookinging thingies in the heads???
Yes, just push the bulb in and you will feel the CR press in. Doing this daily probably helps keep them from sticking or rusting up. I do it at every start.

Mine push themselves in when I hit the starter and every time I use the starter.

Hey all,

Here is the site I got my parts from, Phat Performance Parts - Great Parts, Great Prices, Great Service, Great Website. The product numbers are the same as S&S uses. The manual releases were back-ordered, so I went with the electronic ones just to get myself rolling again. This site had the best prices that I found, and that includes S&S also. The product I received were true S&S parts. Check them out when you get a chance.
The V runs like a champ again. Thank you Roy at MindRide Cycles in Bayard (just south of Jacksonville, FL)
