Ok I know there was a How To tread on changing or replacing the compression release. I got an 08 ridgeback and need to replace the front but thinking of just replacing both. I heard some say you can do it while the engine is in the bike. any thoughts. What else do I need?

Just push them in and start yr bike. They pop out (back into their regular position) when the bike starts. I believe Ultima uses this design. They install right beside the spark plug, so the heads need to be removed for the install.

Use the push on my big dog 131" my confederate 131" and confederate 113" . Never had issues my personal opinion internal compression valves suck. But hey that's mine everyone has one. As a mechanic seen a ton less work to do on the engine when you have and " Do Use Them" hence that. Don't forget if it's manual push button

Thx always hellcat
