Compression Release

Hi, my 2006 Big Dog K9 (Carb Model) has a starting problem with the compression release not working correctly, I have only done around 3000 miles! Would anybody have any ideas how I can best get around this?

hot engine just makes it more exciting

you could take them out and clean them up some, but it takes a specialized tool.:bang:

I did the rear cylinder "push down with finger" routine for the first year I had mine. Finally had enough and bought 2 new ones. Made a socket for changing them by cutting down the right size deep socket and welding it to a piece of pipe of the same diameter. Night and day diff having them both working right. That and rebuilding the starter has my motor crankin over like a Toyota.
