Compression Release

Do all the BD motors have some form of compression release? I have read about some kind of electric releases? I'm interested in the 107CI BD S&S motors. Any info would be nice. Thanks!

Look down the hole in the center of your rockerboxes. You should see a rubber boot. Those are electric comp. releases.

They started running those in late 03.

Thanks for the info. How dependable are these? I read on this forum that some one had one come apart.

I have a 04 also and have had no troubles with mine. a quick two twist of throttle hit Stop then Run then the starter. They never let me down
