Compression release tool

Energy One
The latest issue I am having with my 05 Chopper is the rear compression release. Looks like I need a $125 tool and to remove my rocker box to replace (or plug) the compression release. Anyone around Sierra Vista, AZ have or know of a shop that has the tool!?

First of all, you don't have to remove the rocker box to replace a compression release. If no one comes up with the tool, ( I forget who has it) I'll tell you how to make one out of a regular socket. When I'm in my shop tomorrow, I'll take a picture of the one I made.

I just took a thin wall deep socket and drilled a hole in the side way up near the socket head. The hardest thing was to find a very thin walled socket.

MOST of the time, I find you NEED to remove the rocker cover, and the rocker arm saddle on S&S engines to change out the S&S compression releases, due to misalignment.
