I have a 02 Bull Dog with 107. I would like to increase compression to 10 to 1 or alittle above. Also I would like to use s&s 600 or woods 626 cam. Any suggestions?

Hello: According to the Big Dog Service Manual (1994-2004): It states; "107-inch S&S (Big Bore) motors are indentified by the SA (Special Application) stamped near the serial number on the motor cases. S&S 107 inch motors will have either the S&S 520 or 600 camshaft installed". ALSO-"107-inch TOTAL PERFORMANCE (TP) engines have either the TP logo or Big Dog logo located near the number boss. All TP motors use the CRANE 304 camshaft". So, depending on which motor you have, you may already have the S&S 600 cam. Hope this helps.

I'd say you have a very good chance of having the .600 cam in that motor. My early 03 Chopper had one. That bike ran fantastic. That was my favorite bike engine to date.

First thing is to figure what cam and engine you have.
Then you need to decide what cam you want to use.
At that point, you can make a decision as to what compression will optimize the combination for the best result.
Remember,INTAKE CLOSING really determines what you can get away with regarding compression.:2thumbs:
