I recently got my03 chopper, bd having a hard time finding parts like pegs, foot rest, handles, etc. How id compatibility with Harley? Footpegs for bdm cost 5x as much as Harley ones

Your in luck with the 03, as long as it's not the end of the year model. Foot pegs, hand grips, controls, and a few other things are all the same as Harley.

Wow!! Sounds to good to be true,
as my BD is registrated 12.31.2003 but Choppers was made from 2003 right? Did they change trough the firs production year?

04 is when Big Dog started using their own foot pegs. the only difference is the width of the clevis.
