So I went by the supposed address of the new facility and couldn't find it. The address is in a residential area! Hmmm!

If I only had a spare $35k!!!! I'd take another Mastiff... a K9 too. Damn glad they are back, dumped the KMW name and have the Big Dog name again!

So, has there been any progress? There website is still minimal, there's not product that can be seen, no dealerships (or few of them) yet? I've yet to see some Mastiff's.... do we have any updates on the company, how its doing, what its doing, etc?

Fury and dream machines of Texas and austin are supposedly the larger dealers for these bikes.. I'm personally still doing a lot of research on them.. my k9 has a whole new wiring harness because their stuff was junk and really crammed in there. I'm just not wanting to buy a new one and run into issues again..

They use a thunderheart electrical box which is top of the line. They went to a Jims transmission and standard Harley primary which means no problems ever finding replacement parts.

They got rid of all the propertiary bullshit, they kept the sleek handlebar controls though which is okay in my book.

I honestly don't think you could build a better bike than the 2016. Threw out all the problems and replaced with tried and true parts. It is expensive don't get me wrong but if you want a new chopper it's it!

And yes, I have seen one :)

I agree with Eric, from all the research I've done they seem to be rock solid. Eliminating the past problem areas. The 2016's do come with a nice price tag but for the quality and the components, it's worth it.

Yeah.. I'm thrilled about the new engine and the trans is supposed to be great as well, but I have had great luck with mine so I wouldn't been hurt at all if they stayed with Baker. But as far as the controls go, I'm not a huge fan.. don't dislike em, but don't like em. But yes my big issue is their electrical. So if they got that handled then I'm thrilled and might consider getting one one day.. just gotta get rich real quick.. lol

According the build sheet on mine it was 30k back in 07.. so not a huge jump for 5 years of inflation...

The baker is fine..it's just when stuff breaks you gotta find it first and baker is very proud of their $tuff. $500 for just a clutch basket is alot! I don't like we need a proprietary starter.

This bike was at a local shop here last weekend getting the trans redone.. he said he got everything from big dog, not baker... I could be mistaken.. but I didn't ask him price. He showed me factory parts and the new updated ones.. a huge differenceScreenshot_20160726-193730.png
