Whats the difference between a 3ohm and a 5 ohm coil? I was looking at the coil brackets at motorway engineering co. with the 2 individual coils. My bike has the dual fire coil on it now. could I switch it to the 2 individual coil setup?

If you run 2 coils you can still run a dual fire ignition. All you have to do is run 2 jumpers for the coils. If down the road you decide to go single fire then all you have to do is remove one of the jumpers. And you need the 3 ohm not the 5.
