Coil stud broke

Hey I was out for a ride tonite and the bike started missing really bad, pulled over at a gas station to see if i could see anything and noticed my back coil wire was loose. Well it wasnt just loose the stud had broke and the wire was barely hanging on by what little stud was left. My bike only has 3300 miles on it. Is there anything I can do besides buy a new coil.???

yep on a 2008... no problems... bdm will cover that.

Thanxs, yeah i thought it was kinda odd myself. That I know of the coil has never been off unless the dealer had it off for some reason when they sent my tank back for paint. dont see why though. yeah i figured that warranty would cover it just suxs that im not in baton rouge where the dealer is and the next closest is in dallas to me. 2 1/2 hrs away and im working 7 days a week, any suggestions as to whether i should go straight to bdm or try and call a dealer, because there is no way i can go in.

Hey Gas thanxs:flag: , but I got lucky and one of the guys I am working with from Wisconsin had an extra one he brought with him(gotta love guys that have extra parts). Gonna just use his until I go home for X-mas and can stop by the dealer. Thanxs again for the offer Gas man, if I can help any of you out let me know and Ill try and return the favor/offer
