Code for high low beam lights on EHC

Battery fried '06 Mastiff, put in fresh battery, won't start, cables get hot quick!! When we turn on switch head light does not come on, high beam light on speedo flashes, low and high beam lights on EHC flashing. Is EHC telling us that starter is grounded?

Chances are your headlight connector might have melted. You need to look inside your bucket and see if anything is going on in there. Hot cables when trying to start could mean you have a loose connector or a short. Make sure your battery connections are tight on both ends...

1. Hey Brew, Thanks for the input!!! Since I started this thread, we have found a little oil on the underneath side of the starter. Primary oil getting past shaft seal, running down into starter motor
