If someone could agree with me answering my own questions:
1. If the clutch center nut is loose, does the pushrod push the whole basket out and there is no way the rod and crack the plates loose, because the basket was sent out on the trans output shaft and the throw is so far? So I would be grinding gears with the plates not separating on a loose shaft. If this occurs [I would assume] as a loose nut would, then the OP is not complaining about gear grind. Therefore, no loose nut in the variable of loose plates slipping?
2. If the nut backs out, the collar that the seal is mated to, this would walk the collar out past the seal lips and there is the leak on the driveway [see picture]. But the OP does not mention anything about a leak, but slipping plates.
3. There are members here that supply parts for the BD so you'd be smart by replacing the pack with fresh steels and friction plates. For example, when changing belt or chain, you replace all 3 parts as a set. Same as saying you hoarded rolls of toilet paper, and you are so anal about things you just wipe half your ass. So ass the cheeks swish back and forth, that other half you didn't wipe, transfers over the the other parts you didn't change, and well, you're shit out of luck wearing out the belt/chain sooner; than if you wiped all of your ass clean the first time.
