Clutch Whirring Noise

Possibly, but check your chain adjustment first.
If all answers are no... NPF (no problem found):
0. Does the noise sound occur when idling clutch in, dead stop?
1. Does the noise sound occur when idling, clutch out?
2. Do I have a hard time finding N?
3. When riding, is there vibration on the clutch side?
4. Does my clutch lever loosen up when warm?
5. When I leave from a stop in 1st gear, is there any chatter when the clutch is engaging?
6. Under robust acceleration thru the gears, does the clutch slip?
Sounds more like you are hearing loose plates act like corduroy pants sipping back and forth, but more constant in the one direction.
Won't do it when it's idling in the garage when you pull in the lever? Just when tires are turning?

I actually experiencing the same issue on my 2018 K-9 with Jims transmission.
the sound only happens when I go from neutral into first gear.....it is kind of a whirring sound, like the plates are spinning until they catch on each other. But then everything works fine afterwards. And it doesn't happen consistently.
otherwise, my clutch is not slipping.
....do I need to worry about that?
