Clutch setting

When I try to engage my clutch, it's almost impossible to squeeze. Is there a setting for tension or tightness I can loosen but still operate the same ?

Maybe the clutch rod needs to be backed out a bit:

as far as a setting to lighten the pull of the clutch, no. as said before, go through the adjustment procedure and check to make everything right. lube the rod, the ball & ramp, the clutch cable, everything. and make sure you use the correct lube for each item. if this doesn't work, go to the gym.

Also the ball ram on right side that controls the Clutch rod, may be jambed or miss-alighned. Don't ask me how I know.

had the same problem on my Pitbull ...ended up being my clutch hub nut backing off.... once I tightened it up it worked fine... go through your clutch circut from cable to nut make sure everything is right..

Do the newer dogs have soft pull standard? If so what year did they start?
