Clutch Rod Wear?

Guys should my clutch rod look like this with 7k miles?

Hopefully you can see what I would describe as several areas of wear it appears such that the diameter throughout the rod is inconsistent. If that is abnormal, any thoughts as to what may have caused it? I had my clutch nut loosen up again after the dealer checked things over (which was after I re torqued to 100). I broke the clutch cable in the adjuster threaded rod area. I just happened across that as I was replacing the cable and thought I'd run it past the experts here, thanks.

Don't know but here is my clutch rod after over 50,000 miles and it was in better shape than the new replacement except for a rounded tip. The rusted one is the new one I ordered. No problems with either just replaced it with the old clutch.

Thanks Ray, just seemed weird to have a couple areas with worn down diameter around it. I don't think its binding or anything. Didn't know if it was machined that way or not is all really. Curiosity.

My buds AIH had similar wear on the shaft... I say as long as the tip is in good condition and the shaft is there, you should be ok...

Hold on...

Are we still talkin about clutch rods?
