My mechanic had to go in for knee surgery yesterday. He is going to call on thursday when he is off all the GOOD drugs they put him on. I will keep you all informed when we find something out. I did email their tech support guys but I have no respnse back yet either.

Was any of this covered in your warranty??? I'm having clutch problems and have from day one.
Nope, it was purchased used. I can tell you it is VERY EASY to replace a clutch pak which is what was wrong with this 06 Mastiff. I still think it had HD Synthetic Oil in the primary which caused slipping because it should not have worn out so quickly but then again, if your riding her hard all bets are off.

Looks like it changed into a chopper!
Hey BB ... mine is red, this is SuperFly's .. He would have joined us in Daytona if his VR hadn't decided it was time for fun as in lets start this baby on fire! I am going to change the clutch in mine when the warranty runs out.

BDM will not cover it on a warranty. But if you call Rivera the MFG of the clutch they will tell you it is a common problem with them. They say the clutch spring is not strong enough and to upgrade to the medium spring. It only cost around $40 to get it and it is real easy to do yourself if you wanna try that.

Hey Dimentia - so this spring will bolt on as a direct replacement for the BDM spring without having to change anything else? If yes, can you give me all the contact details please?

Good job guys, good to know for the future...I'm sure mine will need a new one sooner or later. I was thinking about doing a lockup hybrid that's made by barnett, my buddy just put one in his flyrite and it'll do a fing wheelie now! It slips as you let it out but locks in hard once it's 95% engaged (I think don't quote me on that). Anyway, weird to get used to but they hold 100%
