Clutch Problems ....

Yea I'm going to keep a eye on it and first sign of problems ..I'll get a new one .

since the tranny mainshaft rotates around the pushrod (it's held stationary by the clutch release), irregularities in the bore of the mainshaft rub against the pushrod. Give a good coat of anti sieze when reinstalling it.

does the anti -sieze contaminate the clutch & tranny fluids !:willy_nilly:

I have also switched over to Amsoil Extreme Gear oil in the primary and it works really well - I got the tip from Jakes thread when he installed his new Bandit clutch - they recommended it for that clutch

Not a problem, the primary will vent better thru the pushrod bore so no anti seize will get in the primary, and there is no contact with trans fluid. It doesn't require lots of anti seize, a light coat along the shaft. make it one of those regular maintenance items. the pushrod bore is opeen to the elements on the pulley side.
