I was going up a hill in fourth gear , gave it some throttle the engine reved up but the bike didn’t pickup any speed . I have felt that before but in my pickup just before my clutch went out ,am I looking at that problem again?

The adjustment is good advice . You can also check for slippage at WOT in 1st and 2nd gears. Might be easier than finding another 4th gear hill.

If your adjustment is okay, you'll have to pull the primary cover off. A loose hub nut would not cause that so you'll have to take your clutch pack apart. The measurement for the whole stack is 1.96 minimum

Well I can check the adjustments but as for pulling the clutch apart that’s above my pay grade. There is one mechanic here that I would trust to do something like that, but everybody is on lockdown cause of that f¥£Ken virus. It’s finally hit our little town and it’s like the walking dead has come.
