(Concerning my 2003 Pitbull)

My clutch lever is VERY hard to pull.
I've done a few searches on the forum and found that people have changed out the inner/outter ball & ramp and have had great results.
I contacted Bigdog & they replied saying ball & ramp part# 120-000035-00/120-000036-00 would not be compatible with my bike (Baker 6sp Overdrive).

Does anyone know where I can get the ball & ramp I need?
Also, I had a friend on here recommend & swear by a lubricant product called Dri-Slide Bike Aid.
Anyone else use this, if so what do you think of it?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!
Have a great 4th of July weekend!!

I am not sure about the dri-slide lube, it would be better to use cable lube and make sure
the hemi joints are lubed also. If you have a 5 speed an MRC ball and ramp will work.
The ball and ramp in there now should be an 18 degree ramp, if you buy a 15 degree
ball and ramp it will reduce the pull by about 40%. There are two companys that make this ramp, I use the MRC 15 degree ball and ramp, do a google search for MRC ball and ramp, dealers are listed on the web site, you need the big twin one.

I wish I had more money.
Dry slide is good stuff. I would say that if you haven't lubes your cables in a while you will be able to tell a big difference. Mine was hard too.:D

I ordered some Dri Slide today.
Not sure the last time the original owner lubed the cables (if ever).

Plan on ordering the MRC ball/ramp soon.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I'll keep you posted.

Dri Slide is great stuff. I do mine once a month. It has a syringe tip you screw on to the end. Place it right in the clutch cable hole right at the grip. Real smooth stuff.
