So I decided to pull the clutch pushrods ball and ramp re grease reassemble and adjust the clutch on my 05 mastiff. Did everything by the book no issues whatsoever except now the clutch will not disengage. Anyone having suggestions would be much appreciated thanks .

Scott, if the clutch adjust went ok and by the book, start the bike up and try it.Side note. with the bike not running and put in gear if you pull the clutch lever in it won't roll. Hope that helps.

I thought it would disengage even with bike not running. I pushed forward with installing the P D M and will check once it's up and running. These are a couple of my winter projects

Make sure that the ball and ramp were fully relaxed or in the full retracted position

Fully relaxed ? Looked like there is only one way to assemble it and if I did get it wrong the ball and ramp cover would not seat flush that was my thought anyway. I can see the movement about 1 inch in and out while depressing the clutch handle. However all this is with the engine off .

If you can see the ball ramp assembly rotating and moving outward when pulling the lever and returning when the lever is released, I would suggest rechecking the pushrod / throwout bearing adjustment.

Loosen the cable and with the cable push the ramp back towards the rear of the bike which will be in the relax mode, then adjust the rod, then adjust the lever.
