Clutch Cable

first a thank you to all of u that gave me answers when my clutch cablebroke on my 08 MUTT< BD picked a really dumb name for this model. I have some info to share with u all.1st Barnett cable DID NOT make the cables for this bike, acording to them they were made by Cable Pro. I had tosend themmy broken cable, the eyelet broke in half, to find that out. On a great note they did fix,replace the whole inner part, for free, and it has a much stronger looking eyelet. back together and on the road.

Glad to hear you are back on the road! I think I may have said that I'm on my 3rd cable now, I have to admit that the first two are on me. Had I taken the time to lube the cable it would have not put so much stress on the eyelet. Lesson learned! Five motorcycles to maintain and it's hard to remember everything!

it might not have been ur fault. When I spoke to Ivan at Barnett he told me that a few years back there were a bunch of bad eyelet made, seems the pot metal casting was not good.
