I just got a new Barnett clutch cable from Nelson and noticed the inner wire is nylon coated, I went to Barnett's site and they say the outer cable has a internal HDPE liner.
I sent a e-mail to Barnett and was told that no lube is required for these cables but some silicone at the lever end is ok.
Just something to look for when buying a new cable.
